ISEE system is adapting CIS (Contact Image Sensors) scanning technology. Without complicated optical accessories, adjustment of optical beam and depth of focus would not be the issue. Compared to CCD or COMS technology, the application of CIS has a number of unique advantages including design simplicity, small in size, and no distortion, especially in surface inspection application.
